Eventos Visit from Mitchell Newman, first violin of the Los Angeles Philharmonic
20 noviembre 2019Last November 10 we had the visit of the first violin of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Mitchell Newman. Mitch began his visit with a tour of the Patios de la Estación neighborhood and discovered the impact that Benning has brought to the life of each one of our kids. Later on, our string assembly students had the chance to take a Master Class with him and learn his techniques and advices. It was an amazing experience!
Around 7 pm more than 400 businessmen gathered at Casa Nueva, Las Mañanitas to attend the violin and piano recital performed by Mitchell Newman, Alejandro Vigo, pianist at the National School of Music and soprano Joycee Díaz. The audience enjoyed pieces such as: Sonata for violin and piano No.5 Op.24 by Ludwig Van Beethoven among others. The evening was full of surprises and excellent music, but above all we appreciate the heart participation of the Morelos citizens whom set out to support our Patios de la Estación children. We believe in transforming lives through the musical art and we will continue promoting our programs until we reach each state of the Mexican Republic.
